5th Preparatory Meeting of CCI

The fifth preparatory meeting of the Africa, Russia & Eurasia Chamber of Commerce and Investment Forum (CCI Africa Russia & Eurasia) was held on June 12 in Dakar, attended by diplomatic representatives from fourteen nations and two representatives from Power China. This meeting takes place against a backdrop of a paradigm shift in international economic relations, where Africa is playing an increasingly central role in new value chains and South-South cooperation dynamics.
The agenda focused primarily on promoting the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Forum, which will be held in Diamniadio on October 7 and 8, 2025. On this occasion, Mr. Moustapha Diop, Head of Partnerships at APIX, presented the highlights of this strategic event for Senegal. The forum promises to be a key moment to realize the "Senegal 2050 Vision," championed by His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, with a view to fostering inclusive and sovereign emergence.
The diplomatic community, united around this initiative, expressed strong interest and shared enthusiasm, welcoming an approach based on a less complex approach to international relations, where transparency, pooling opportunities, and respect for economic sovereignty become the pillars of a new multilateral dialogue.
By organizing this meeting, the Africa, Russia & Eurasia Chamber of Commerce and Industry reaffirms its role as a strategic facilitator and promoter of investment. It is firmly committed to a new dynamic of economic cooperation, focused on sustainable, innovative, and equitable partnerships between Africa, Russia, and the Eurasian region. Ahead of its own forum planned for the coming months, it intends to actively contribute to the success of the FII Forum and to the anchoring of a development model based on trust, openness and co-construction.
