Participation of the CCI in the launch of Senegal’s “New Technological Deal”

On February 24, 2025, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment for Africa, Russia & Eurasia (CCI Africa Russia & Eurasia) participated in the launch day of the New Deal Technology, Senegal's new digital strategy, which aims to position the country as a technology leader on the African continent by 2034.

This ambitious initiative, with a budget of 1,105 billion FCFA, is structured around four strategic axes: digital sovereignty, the digitalization of public services, the development of the digital economy, and African leadership in technology.
As a key player in economic and trade development between Africa, Russia, and Eurasia, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment shares the same challenges as Senegal in terms of digital transition and technological innovation. The development of the digital economy and the digitalization of administrative services represent a strategic lever to facilitate investment and strengthen the competitiveness of African and Eurasian companies. Supported by its numerous private partners operating in the fields of e-government, biometrics, digital transformation of education systems, and others, the Chamber of Commerce is positioning itself as a key partner to holistically support the integration of digital solutions among its member states.

Digital transformation is a strategic focus that the Africa, Russia & Eurasia CCI intends to promote within its missions, in order to foster a more efficient, inclusive, and connected economic environment. Thus, the "New Technology Deal" and the CCI's ambitions converge toward a common objective: using digital technology as a driver of growth and innovation.

The Africa, Russia & Eurasia CCI welcomes this major initiative for the future of Senegal and reaffirms its commitment to facilitating investment and technological exchanges between Africa, Russia, and Eurasia.
