Dakar, 11 April 2025 – The Africa, Russia and Eurasia Chamber of Commerce and Investment (CCI Africa, Russia & Eurasia) has welcomed an official Chinese delegation consisting of representatives of companies from the city of Shehong, active in the construction, automotive, agriculture, trade and textile sectors, among others. This visit was initiated by the Senegalese Embassy in China in order to strengthen relations between the two countries.
The meeting was also attended by several high-level diplomatic personalities, including the ambassadors of Russia, Tunisia and Palestine to Senegal, as well as a representative of Angola, testifying to the regional and international interest in the multilateral economic exchanges promoted by the CCI.
The Chinese delegation had the opportunity to visit the premises of the Chamber, getting to know its missions, projects and opportunities offered within the framework of its economic cooperation programs in Africa.
During this meeting, the CCI reaffirmed its role as a strategic facilitator, through support for Chinese companies in exploring sustainable partnerships in Senegal and on the African continent, in the key sectors identified. In particular, the Chamber offered support in terms of networking, strategic advice and structuring of investment projects.
